Nobody's Home...

Sometimes, I wish old buildings and homes could talk.
What kind of tails would they tell.

Along a once very country road, now with 'progress' creeping up,
you see signs of the past.

Who knows how many generations lived here.

But, nobody's home here, now.

Once maybe a nice property.  Is that a guest house, out back?
And, it has a tv antenna.  So, not really ancient.

If only walls could talk.

  6. Good thing you took a picture of it! If progress is anything like it is here, it won't be creeping up on it for long...it will swallow it up! And then there will be no trace of what it used to be. Sad.
