Scavenger Hunt Sunday....August 5, 2012...

Here we are again at
Ashley Sisk's

So here we go....

Going back in time.

Back again to the San Antonio Mission Trail, and San Jose Mission.
Back to the 1700s, is going back in time.

Something just for me.

On our Panama Canal cruise last year, our group would meet every evening for a drink before dinner.
I had the martinis...with 'free' glass.  This one was the best....Key Lime.  Yum.

Best part of my day.

We sit on the porch every evening.  It's relaxing, and I have this lovely view.

Night & day.

Day is done....gone's the sun.

Look up.

I don't know what this little guy is looking at.  Maybe he's just planning his next move.

Hope you enjoyed this week's Hunt.

Be sure to click the link at the top and go to Ashley's site for more Hunts.

Tell Me a Story: "Well you see, Pop...I made this fort with my Legos, and..."

Love or Couple:  Well, we love this couple, and the team they represent.

Scavenger Hunt Sunday...July 15

I've been seeing several photo blogs participating in the
Sunday Scavenger Hunt.
It looks like fun.  So, here goes with mine.

This week's challenge is:

WATER
Back in March, we had quite a bit of rain around here.
It was very welcome, after the long drought we've been through.
This is the low water crossing on Cypress Creek, which runs through our neighborhood.

PETAL
Vibrant petals of a Moy Grande Hibiscus bloom, at the San Antonio Botanical Garden.
These are dinner-plate sized blooms.

FRESH
We live in deer country.
This little guy is one of the fresh new crop.

EIGHT
Because the squirrels and the birds seem to end up with too many of our tomatoes,
we bring them in and let them ripen on the window ledge.

CALM
The Blanco River runs through our town.
I had to go back to 2009 for this fall photo.
Hopefully, there will be this much water for reflections again this year.

This was fun, finding photos to meet the challenge.

If you want to see more, hop over to
and see more Scavenger Hunt Sunday.
