Texture Tuesday...Pop of Color...


This week, for
Texture Tuesday,
Kim has asked us to use one of her textures
on a photo that has a POP of color.

Back in September, we took a trip out to California,
for a golf tournament in the Palm Springs area.
The tournament was at
Indian Wells Golf Resort.

There are lots of POPS of color, at these desert resorts.



I picked a photo I was lucky to get, of a
Western Flame Tanager.

I added two layers of Kim's new texture
'Havana'....one @ soft light, and one @ linear burn.

The texture added a softness to the background.

    I love colorful birds, but we don't have many where I live. This is such a great photo, too, and you've used Havana beautifully.

    This would brighten up any room...especially my room....you can mail it to me....doesn't have to be framed...I can get the frame for it! I am green with envy!!!
