Cathedral Cactus

50-365

'Cathedral Cactus'

Our neighbor, Elli, gave us some cuttings of this last fall.
It rooted quite easily, and is now twice as big.
I need to cut it again, and have lots more limbs.

It's really not a cactus.
It's a euphorbia...
Euphorbia trigona.

  1. I don't think I have ever seen one. Your shot is awesome and I really like the way you framed it....

  2. I love plants that grow quickly, and this is lovely looking one. We have a wild plant called 'euphorbe réveil-matin' I wonder if they are from the same family? This is a beautiful shot and I like the way you've framed it.
